Objectives of the role:
.
To take the consultant role within the application delivery team for Tableau report and dashboard development.
. Be a team player working closely with functional team, data modeler, data integration team members etc.
. Diagnose and provide solutions to any performance issues
. Understand reporting requirements
. Preparing data for use by Tableau.
. Establishing connections to Data Sources.
. Adding or Creating Dimensions, Measures and Calculations.
. Performing Data Modeling in Tableau Desktop.

Responsibilities
. Good communication skills & highly proactive in approach
. Ability to manage & prioritize deliverables
. Ability to be learn and apply new processes and tools
. Closely work with Customers on their requirements and convert into solutions
. Actively participate in knowledge augmentation initiatives
. Should be actively responsive to customers and mitigate issues such as product feature deficiencies and other objections
.
Implement Change management processes to migrate Tableau projects and objects between QA, UAT and Production environments
. Mange Cube builds, refreshes and monitoring
. Work closely with report domains architects and suggest configuration and process changes to improve the reliability, scalability and supportability of Tableau environment
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
. BE/B Tech/MCA
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
. Core Development experience working with development teams
. Certification in a
Preferred qualifications
. experience working on data visualization tool
. Experience of working on full life cycle implementations across multiple versions
. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
.
Excellent understanding and knowledge of Tableau tool capabilities including admin. activities.
. Ability to create technical documentation to support postproduction support.
Person Specification:
. Highly confident with providing support and training to users
. Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to customers
. Experience across a number of industries - ideally strong finance experience
. Business analysis
. Client facing skills
