Job Description
Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our team and help us achieve our goals through effective Agile practices. In this role, you will work as part of a Global Cloud Technology organization to manage and improve our development and service delivery processes.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the team follows Agile principles and practices.
- Remove impediments and blockers to ensure smooth project progress.
- Collaborate with product owners to manage the product backlog and prioritize work.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Track and report on project metrics and team performance.
- Promote a collaborative and self-organizing team environment.
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and delivery.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Ensure project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Implement and manage Kanban boards to visualize work and optimize flow.
- Facilitate Kanban meetings, including daily stand-ups.
- Identify and address bottlenecks to improve efficiency.
- Educate team members on Kanban principles and practices.
- Track and analyze flow metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Ability to manage project budgets and timelines.
- Knowledge of Kanban metrics and how to use them to drive improvements.
Additional Information
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in software development or IT project management.
- Advanced Scrum certifications (e.g., Advanced Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Professional).
- Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience with Lean principles and practices.
