Description
BOSS is looking for an Oracle Web Developer to join our team as a Principal Developer for a current project. This resource will work with a larger team of functional and technical Oracle Energy and Water consultants to build responsive enterprise web applications for customer service portals. The candidate will be a JavaScript Developer with hands-on experience developing atop Oracle JET. This role will be responsible for the development of web services for external messaging of Oracle Utility Application Framework (OUAF)
and Oracle’s Digital Customer Service (DCS) platform leveraging real-time RESTful APIs through responsive web apps.

Role & Responsibilities
* Ownership of Solution Strategy - the PD is responsible for working with the functional team translating the various business requirements into a Web Application Strategy (WAS). This strategy will take in consideration the Oracle DCS platform and JET capabilities.
* Ownership of Solution Design - the PD is responsible for translating the WAS into a Web Application Design (WAD) specification detailing the real-time API integration mechanics, payload, and field mappings for the external messaging via web services.
* Responsible for Development - the PD is responsible for developing atop of the Oracle Digital Customer Service (DCS)
platform leveraging the Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (JET) to interact with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) version 4.5.x. This development will be a mix of JavaScript, Visual Builder, and RESTful services.
* Responsible for Unit Testing - the PD is responsible for performing development unit/string testing to assure the design and code base is configured and developed in accordance with the WAS & WAD docs.
* Responsible for Break Fixes - the PD is responsible for supporting the System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing cycles for break fixes identified. These tasks will extend into production support upon cutover.
*Responsible for Development Standards - the PD is responsible for expanding on our development standards and to adopt them to a new DCS offering to be productized for our customers.
Requirements
* 6+ years of experience as a responsive HTML5 Developer
* 5+ years of experience as a JavaScript Developer
* 4+ years of experience working with RESTful web services.
* 3+ years of experience with Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (JET)
Nice to Have
* Candidate has hands-on Oracle Digital Customer Service (DCS) experience.
* Candidate has hands-on Oracle Utilities Application Framework developer experience.
* Candidate has hands-on Oracle CCB, C2M,
CCS experience developing external messaging.
* Candidate has hands-on Groovy development experience.
* Candidate has hands-on Oracle Visual Builder experience.
