Role – CPQ Developer
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique business challenges, particularly around quoting, pricing, and the quote-to-cash process. Translate those needs into robust CPQ and Billing configurations
- Develop and implement complex customizations using Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning, ensuring seamless integration between CPQ, RLM, Billing, and existing systems
- Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding stakeholders and mentoring junior team members on best practices and the latest CPQ and Billing advancements
- Participate in all stages of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing, deployment, and ongoing support for CPQ, RLM,
and Billing functionalities
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data flow and optimal system performance across CPQ, RLM, and Billing
Qualification
- Possesses a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ implementations, with a proven track record of success in complex environments, with Salesforce Billing experience a must
- Holds a valid Salesforce CPQ Specialist or Consultant certification (or equivalent) and has a strong understanding of Salesforce Billing functionality
- Demonstrates exceptional technical proficiency in Salesforce CPQ/RLM configuration, product rules, pricing methodologies (including product bundling), discounting, quote generation, and approval workflows
- Thrives in a collaborative environment while also possessing the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Has a strong understanding of business processes, particularly the quote-to-cash flow,
and how CPQ/RLM and Billing can optimize the sales cycle and revenue recognition.
- Boasts excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
