We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join the Food & Beverage Service Team at The Oberoi, New Delhi as Bar Manager . This role will be reporting F&B; Manager in running a smooth Bar operation in providing cutting edge Beverage concepts & hospitality to guests as per international standards, thereby maximizing Beverage revenues & guest satisfaction in an atmosphere of high employee morale.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Maintains optimum sales volume and strives to achieve sales objectives set forth by the Management for the Bar.
- Organizes and develops the Bar teams by constant motivation and training in order to provide highest levels of guest satisfaction.
- Ensures that Beverage Sales and Control Procedures are followed as prescribed by the Management.
- Handles guest complaints and does detailed glitch analysis to ensure no repeats.
- Prepares staff budgets, sales volume forecasts and profit targets.
- Optimizes seating capacity by constantly monitoring reservation status and professionally allocating tables.
- Works with Food and Beverage Manager to determine menus and prices.
- Ensures guest histories are maintained and updated on a daily basis.
- Proposes and participates in advertising, promotions and marketing efforts for the outlet and ensures seamless execution of each promotion
- Proposes changes in policies and procedures to increase efficiency and improve service level.
- Takes feedback from long stay and repeat guests.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate with minimum experience of 5+ years in Bar Operations.
- Excellent communication skills with penchant for high touch customer service.
- Female candidates from standalone restaurants will be highly preferred.
