Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Consultant who will be responsible for managing the delivery of data engineering projects and leading the project teams. The ideal candidate should have deep technical expertise in data engineering and extensive experience in managing and delivering complex projects in a timely and efficient manner.
We strongly prefer candidates with experience in Data Warehousing, ETL, and BI.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the delivery of data engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Architect data solutions like data warehouse, enterprise analytics and BI, etc
• Manage project teams, ensuring that team members are performing their roles effectively and efficiently.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and implement project plans, ensuring that project timelines, milestones, and budgets are met.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring that all technical requirements are met. Sometimes, even get hands-on to help the team.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and standards.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery.
• Interviewing key candidates.
• Mentor and train junior team members.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering and at least 2 years of experience in managing project teams.
• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing data engineering projects using technologies such as BI, ADF, or other ETL tools.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
