Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust, scalable data pipelines that support our analytics and machine-learning platforms.
This role is pivotal in optimizing our data architecture and driving insights that influence strategic decisions across the company.
Responsibilities:
- Design and construct high-performance data architectures to support our learning platforms and job matching systems.
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures such as large-scale processing systems and databases.
- Implement secure and compliant data processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists and architects on project goals.
- Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
- Use data to discover tasks that can automate and optimize key processes.
- Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, or similar languages.
- Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.
- Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift.
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and data modeling.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Outstanding problem solver.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
