The role
This is an exciting opportunity for the Head of Faculty position, which focuses on delivering high-quality online training and coaching to data analysis learners.
This position involves leading our data faculty as a subject expert, which offers features such as virtual training, certifications, and guaranteed work experience to individuals aiming to enter the data field.
We seek an individual who is naturally outgoing, exceptionally organised, and proactive. The ideal candidate will be excellent in English communication, highly empathetic, comfortable coaching and inspiring both our students and working with the multiple departments across e-Careers.
A strong grasp of data and business analytics is essential, along with extensive experience as an instructor, trainer, or coach in the subject. The candidate should possess a passion for learning and significant real-world experience. Educational experience, particularly in adult learning environments, is a valuable bonus.
The role involves designing, supporting the development, and delivering learning programs through live online sessions and coaching workshops.
This includes providing learning and development support to our learners to help them build successful careers.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and deliver all-inclusive training materials that cover data analysis training, use of popular tools and best practices that are created to meet the needs and skill levels of participants.
- Build a team of competent trainers and mentors who will support the candidates with training delivery and provide additional support sessions such as practical sessions, mentoring, and exam preparation.
- Host a variety of interactive and engaging sessions virtually using a range of instructional techniques and tools that promote learning.
- Use practical, real-world examples, tools and scenarios to illustrate concepts and reinforce the understanding of collecting,
structuring and analysing data and make it come alive in real-world scenarios.
- Incorporate new features and functionalities into training programs as appropriate to stay current with the latest news, announcements, and trends in the world of data analysis.
- Continuously enhance and expand training offerings using feedback from participants, team members and industry trends.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs using exam success rates, quizzes, assessments, and participant feedback and make any necessary adjustments to improve learning outcomes.
- Work together with the product development team to create exceptional content, learning experiences and study paths.
- Support the marketing team through regular hands-on webinars to encourage enrolments as well as create promotional materials.
- Support the sales team through product training to encourage maximum conversions to enrolment.
- Mentor and coach junior trainers or team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to help them deliver our candidates an enriching experience.
- Be measured on exam-pass rates, job placement rates, class feedback, NPS scores and Trustpilot feedback of candidates.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 3 years of experience in imparting technical training and mentoring.
- Excellent grasp of British English through verbal and written means.
- Must have exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Must have very strong concepts and experience in the field of data analytics.
- Must have hands-on and training experience in Python, R programming, SQL, SAS and machine learning.
- Should have good of statistics.
- Must have excellent knowledge of MS Office and PowerBI.
- Self-motivated and passionate about technology.
- Excellent analytical and logical skills and be a team player.
- Prior experience delivering training programs or workshops in a corporate or educational setting is essential.
- Passion for training and upskilling individuals and giving them the confidence, knowledge and skills to succeed in their career.
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development, committed to staying current with data analysis tools, techniques, industry bodies and best practices.
Working times:
- e-Careers HQ is in the UK,
so the candidate must report to a UK-based management team.
- The learners are UK-based, so the candidate must adapt to UK working times.
- Many sessions are delivered in the UK evenings and weekends, so the candidate must adapt accordingly.
