Position: Special Child Educator (Special Education Teacher)
Location: Peelamedu, Coimbatore.
Reports to: Parents/School Teacher
Experience:
- 2 years of experience with special abilities is highly preferred.
- Knowledge in activities for special kids and special education strategies.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Need good experience in handling special Childs at home or in school.
Job Summary:
The Special Child Educator is responsible for developing and implementing educational programs tailored to meet the individual needs of student who is delaying in grasping. This role involves creating individualized education plans (IEPs),And using specialized techniques to foster the educational development of children with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs),
- Collaborate with parents, administrators to create IEPs that align with my student’s developmental and academic goals,
- Monitor and update IEPs based on progress and changing needs.
- Utilize special education techniques such as multi-sensory teaching, assistive technology, and alternative communication methods.
- Work closely with general education teachers, speech and occupational therapists, psychologists, and social workers to provide a holistic approach to education of our student.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and successes.
- Evaluate student performance using both formal and informal assessments.
- Ability to create and adapt lesson plans to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
Additional: Speaking Telugu is added advantage.
Salary: 1.2LPA - 2.2LPA
Transport: Will be provided for student use.
