We're seeking an exceptional UI/UX Designer with expertise in SaaS applications, mobile apps, and web solutions. In this role, you'll shape the user experience of our educational technology platforms, working at the intersection of design, technology, and education.
Core Responsibilities
User Research & Strategy
- Lead user research initiatives through interviews, surveys, and usability testing
- Analyze user behavior data and feedback to drive design decisions
- Create user personas and journey maps to inform product development
- Identify opportunities for UX improvements based on research findings
Design Excellence
- Craft intuitive, responsive interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Design both user-facing interfaces and administrative dashboards
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems
- Ensure consistent visual language across all platforms
Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with product managers to translate business requirements into user-centric designs
- Work closely with development teams to ensure precise implementation of designs
- Collaborate with marketing to maintain brand consistency
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to design team culture
Technical Execution
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize user experiences
- Document design decisions and maintain design guidelines
- Stay current with UX trends and emerging technologies
- Contribute to frontend development discussions regarding UI implementation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
- 3+ years of experience designing SaaS products, with education technology experience preferred
- Outstanding portfolio demonstrating strong UI/UX work across web and mobile platforms
- Expert proficiency in:
- Design tools (Figma, Sketch)
- Prototyping tools (InVision, Axure)
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design principles
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with educational technology or learning platforms
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries
- Understanding of agile development methodologies
- Experience with user research and usability testing tools
