Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Assistant Creative Director to lead and manage the creative department. You will oversee the creative team and be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of creative output across all projects. You will play a key role in conceptualizing, designing, and executing campaigns that align with client briefs while driving the artistic vision and maintaining brand integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Team Leadership: Lead and manage the creative team, including designers, illustrators, and copywriters,
ensuring collaboration and innovation across all projects.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards for creative excellence, reviewing and approving all creative deliverables to ensure they meet the agency’s quality benchmarks and align with the client's vision.
- Design Conceptualization: Study design briefs and requirements to conceptualize visuals, layouts, and branding strategies. Develop creative ideas and concepts that meet client expectations and resonate with target audiences.
- Creative Execution: Oversee the development of illustrations, logos, layouts, and other visual designs using both digital tools and hand-drawn techniques. Ensure final designs are aesthetically appealing and on-brand.
- Collaborative Production: Work closely with the creative director, copywriters, and other stakeholders to finalize designs. Guide the team through each project phase, from ideation to execution, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality creative output.
- Feedback and Improvement:
Provide constructive feedback to the creative team, make necessary revisions to designs based on internal or client feedback, and continuously refine the creative process.
- Cross-Media Expertise: Test graphics and designs across different platforms to ensure they perform well in both print and digital media, adjusting visuals as necessary to maintain consistency and engagement.
- Innovation and Trends: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying new techniques and ideas to enhance creative output and push boundaries.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years in an advertising agency, with a proven track record of leading creative projects and managing a creative team.
- Graphic Design Expertise:
Strong portfolio showcasing diverse graphic design skills, including illustrations, branding, and visual design.
- Software Proficiency: Expert in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant tools. Familiarity with Dreamweaver is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for aesthetics, detail, and precision to ensure all designs are visually appealing and on-brand.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both the creative team and clients.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines without compromising creativity or quality.
- Educational Background:
A degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
