Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails (ROR) Developer with 4+ years of experience to join a newly formed startup. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Rails 7 and be familiar with Hotwire and Stimulus . As part of a small team, you will be responsible for leading development efforts, providing strategic advice, and helping shape the technical direction of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the development of web applications using Ruby on Rails 7 .
- Implement interactive, real-time features using Hotwire and Stimulus .
- Provide technical guidance and advice to the client and a small team of developers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the applications.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall growth of the team.
- Assist in decision-making processes regarding technology and architecture.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
- Strong experience with Rails 7 .
- Familiarity with Hotwire and Stimulus for building modern, real-time applications.
- Ability to lead projects, provide direction, and collaborate with a small team.
- Experience in Agile development environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience in working with startups or small teams.
- Knowledge of DevOps and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
