Job Description
Sr. Salesforce Developer
- Build / Customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component Framework, and other technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Develop and deploy custom business logic and custom interfaces using the programmatic capabilities of the Lightning Platform.
- Develop and maintain workflows, functions, and configurations within the Salesforce environment.
- Implement integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Conduct data migrations and ensure data integrity across Salesforce instances.
- Provide operational support / troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Salesforce environment.
- Architect solutions on the Salesforce platform given complex business processes, requirements and dependencies.
Design and Process
- Develop deep understanding of company's business processes, applying functional expertise and experience with standard Sales, Growth, and Marketing business processes.
- Collaborate with product managers, project managers, client technology teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Adhere to enterprise release and change management practices and processes for software and solution delivery.
- Assist in the continuous development of our internal Salesforce development standards and practices.
- Develop data models for the development of complex business logic and interfaces.
Documentation and Skills
- Excellent skills with business communications and understanding business and functional processes in addition to developing technical solutions.

- Ability to lead discussions with business teams to clarify requirements and develop creative solutions to business problems
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation of all implemented solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and optimal performance.
- Provide demos,
training and support to Salesforce end-users as needed.
- Stay current with Salesforce updates and new releases to provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Know when to use declarative versus programmatic methods for Salesforce development
- Extend the Lightning Platform using Apex and Visualforce
Education/Work Experience Requirements Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-11 years of experience developing custom Salesforce solutions and managing complex Salesforce implementations
- Proficiency with the Salesforce Lightning platform, Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL queries
- Experience with Salesforce API, Web Services, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices,
security model, and declarative app development.
- Experience with business communications and working with business processes commonly hosted on the Salesforce platform including Sales, Marketing and Contract management.
- Experience with Salesforce Communities / Experience Cloud development.
- Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud
