Job Purpose: To provide technical expertise and leadership to ensure that RMHS area Yard, Electrical Instrumentation & Automation (EIA) jobs are completed (from concept to commissioning and production stabilization) within target timeline and budget.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Configuring the right configuration, PCC / MCC sizing and TS :
- Study the similar facilities existing across both parent companies, at Hazira and utilize own experience to develop options for best configuration and most optimum PCC / MCC sizes and type.
- Configuration of MCC / PCC considering operational and maintenance aspects and must ensure minimum maintenance issues during operation.
- Scrutinize technical specifications and detailed engineering drawings for the area and provide necessary approvals.
HSE:
- Should have thorough knowledge of electrical safety and plant safety.
- Should be well versed with SOP/HIRAC and risk assessment.
- Should ensure team is trained in these aspects.
Selection of Vendor:
- Assist in selection of right vendor in consultation with technology
- Assist in finalizing the crystal-clear scope division for the area between vendor and client ensuring no loose ends.
Planning & Execution:
- Assist in preparing approval notes for the area and get them approved from relevant authority.
- Assist in preparing organization chart for the area and ensure hiring competent people in right timeframe.
- Assist in developing team and training them to take charge of their respective areas during project execution.
- Commissioning and stabilizing Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) working closely with project team for the area.
- Assist in ensuring PG parameters, purchase orders and contract closing activities are completed in time.
Functional Skills:
- Subject matter expert in Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation and have thorough knowledge of all the areas of Sinter Plant and Steel Making Plant.
- Possess basic domain knowledge/skill on 33KV / 6.6KV Breaker, 33KV Transformers, Distribution Transformers, MV and LV Motors, MV and LV Drives,
DSL system and Crane Switchgears ,6.6KV/415 V PCC and 415 V MCC, PLC System, Instrumentation system like Valves, transmitters etc, Dynamic and static weighing system.
- Weekly, Monthly and Yearly Shut down planning, new manpower requirement to be fulfil by help of HR and HOD. Attend ORM / QRM / CRM- on weekly, Half monthly and monthly basis with ED Operations.
- Evaluate monthly delays, settlement, and compilations of CAPA with Mechanical, Electrical and Operation persons. Development & implementation of SOPs and Review, Change Management Drives, Safety & Environment compliance, and Nurturing of Employees & Associates.
- Departmental Production and Quality review meeting every week with all shift groups.
- Should have a thorough knowledge of latest automation systems (including Level 2) and digitization.
- Should have hands on experience on both Projects and O&M.;
