Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day construction activities at project sites, ensuring adherence to design specifications, construction drawings, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources needed for construction activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to monitor work progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accurate implementation of design requirements on-site.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, resolving technical queries and coordinating with design engineers as required.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily progress reports, quality control documentation, and safety records.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the construction phase.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; additional certifications or specialized training in construction management preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as a Site Engineer or similar role, with a proven track record in managing construction projects within the energy sector (power plants, renewable energy projects, etc.) in the Middle East.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials related to energy infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools for scheduling, cost control, and project documentation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills,
with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate across different functions and levels.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other regional languages is advantageous.
