We are looking for a passionate and energetic fresher to join our Volunteer Service Team at Team Everest.
As a fresher, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and manage volunteering programs, both on-site and virtual, while making a positive impact in communities and educational institutions. This role offers a hands-on experience in managing volunteer activities, building partnerships, and executing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and Execute Volunteering Programs : Organize and run both in-person and virtual volunteering activities in your city.
- Volunteer Management : Engage with volunteers, mobilize and manage them effectively for various programs.
- Beneficiary Visits : Visit schools, colleges, and communities to identify and shortlist beneficiaries for the programs.
- Partnership Development : Identify, build, and maintain partnerships with local organizations, corporates, and vendors.
- Vendor Coordination and Material Procurement : Engage with vendors and manage the procurement of materials as needed.
- Data Tracking and Reporting :
Monitor program progress, track data, and prepare reports to share with stakeholders.
- Project Management : Take responsibility for overall project management in your city, ensuring smooth operations and successful program execution.
- Daily Operations : Manage daily activities and tasks associated with volunteer programs and events.
- Creative Problem Solving : Identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness of programs.
Requirements
- Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language of the city you are applying for.
- Interpersonal Skills : Ability to interact and communicate effectively with volunteers, beneficiaries, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills : Excellent planning and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Adaptability : Flexibility to adapt to changing guidelines and program requirements.
- Computer Skills : Good knowledge of MS Office and general computer skills.
- Driving Skills : Possession of a two-wheeler and driving skills are desirable for local travel.
- Work Ethic : A strong work ethic, with a passion for learning and working independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to Travel : Ready to travel locally within the city, and occasionally inter-city when required.
Qualification
- Education : Graduate/Postgraduate degree. Degrees in Social Work (BSW/MSW) are preferred,
but candidates with any degree are welcome to apply.
- Volunteering Experience : Prior volunteering experience is an advantage, demonstrating your commitment and passion for social impact.

- Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues effectively.

Other Information
- Scope : Full-time
- Probationary period 3 months
- Willing to work with Team Everest for minimum 2 years
- Designation:
You will be designated as ‘ Volunteer Services Fellow ’
- Working days : Monday to Friday + 2 working Saturdays a month
- Office Timing : 9.30 am to 6.30 pm
