We want to be the market leader in the marketing automation category across the globe. As a product leader your job is to define a product vision and own ideating it, executing it and making it a reality.
KRAs
Vision Setting and Roadmap Planning
- Develop and execute the product roadmap, including defining the product vision, strategy, and feature prioritisation based on market trends, customer feedback, and business goals.
- Should be able to understand where the company is able to head for the next 3-5 years.
- Ability to work backwards from the business goals and translate them into product requirements.
Execution
- Coming up with a plan and defining the plan is only 5% of the work,
but actually executing it is 95% of the work.
- Ensure that clear plans are translated into actionable steps and successfully executed.
- You should be hands on with getting things done once we are clear in our head what needs to be done.
Increasing the revenue
- Implement strategies like feature locks, add-ons, and upselling/cross-selling to increase monetization.
- Align product decisions with growth targets, focusing on market needs and customer demands.
- Work with sales and marketing teams on growth activities.
Ownership of other key metrics
- The product lead will own a few key metrics like user retention, NPS, Product lead leads. Some of these KPIs would be shared with other departments.
- Helping sales teams with right marketing content. Keeping them engaged and informed about key product features.
Managing teams
- Nurturing the existing team members, existing what their aspirations are. Conducting regular 1-1s / meetings to ensure team health and cultivate a culture of learning and development.
Building market leadership
- We want to make sure that our product(s) are category leaders and we should do whatever it takes to establish that.
Interview process
Like our work we have a fast paced interview process, we typically have three interview rounds
- Round 1 Past experience / Introduction : We will walk through your past projects and resume. We will pick interesting problem statements which you have worked on, go in depth and understand why you have done what you have done.
- Round 2 Business Strategy / Team Management / X team collaboration : In this round, we will explore your ability to align design or product decisions with business goals and strategy. You will discuss how you manage teams, foster collaboration, and handle stakeholder communication.
We'll also assess how you work with cross-functional teams
- Round 3 Product thinking / Analytical Skills : We’ll dive into your approach to product thinking, team leadership, and problem-solving from an analytical perspective
