Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer to join our Digital Business team. This role involves building and managing data warehouses to support various business functions such as Sales, Marketing, and Content teams, along with driving best practices in Data Modeling, ETL, and Business Intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and enforce standards for Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, ETL processes, and Business Intelligence (BI).
- Collaborate with key business units like Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Manufacturing to gather and assess analytical requirements.
- Develop,
integrate, and deploy analytics solutions to meet business objectives.
- Monitor and optimize performance in EDW, ETL, and BI environments.
- Manage the creation and delivery of BI reports and alerts tailored to product and business needs.
- Train internal teams on data tools and technologies, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in data-related technologies.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services for data solutions.
- Expertise in OLAP systems, with 3+ years in ClickHouse or similar platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Redshift, Presto, and BigQuery.
- Advanced skills in SQL and Hive.
- Experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark (Core, Streaming, SQL), Storm, or Flink.
- Ability to train and support teams on data analytics technologies.
- Proven experience in building data warehouses for Marketing, Sales, and Content teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Druid or other similar technologies.
- Hands-on experience in building data solutions for Marketing, Sales, or Content teams.
