About the Role:The position will be based in the Oil & Gas Division and would be based out of Delhi (HO)The candidate will work on regulatory matters, policy advocacy and report development related to hydrocarbons and oil & gas sectors, develop sectoral understandings and write various representationsCandidate would also be required to work on seminars and programmes of the divisions including speakers, sponsors, delegates & other logistics activitiesMain areas of work will be – conducting events & programmes, research (secondary and primary), develop reports & representations, organize industry consultations,
government liasoning and creating platforms for industry-government interactionsThe scope of work requires person with knowledge on hydrocarbons industryAbility to interact with industry and governmentsTo understand the sector and conduct research along with report development, the candidate should have research bent of mind and be good at report / proposal development along with strong writing skillsPrimary responsibility of managing the communication to and between various stakeholders including the members of the committee, representatives of companies and government dignitariesConducting physical events and webinarsIdentifying industry specific issues for conversion into event platformsCompetencies:Technical (Knowledge, Skills, Attitude)Prior experience of oil & gas / hydrocarbons industryKnowledge of national and international economic developmentsLiaise with industry and government in putting forth recommendations for making better policiesConducting stakeholder consultations and Industry meetings to deliberate on policies and regulationsAbility to conduct events & seminarIdentifying issues and advocate to build representations in consensus with industry membersPrepare recommendations and putting forth to the governmentsAble to write reports & make presentationsStrong liasoning skillsStrong media orientation and social media promotional skillsGeneric / ManagerialBrand promoterGood communication skillsGood analytical skillsEvent management skillsPreparing reports / presentations / representationsResearch Orientation
