Job Description

General Description: Deep knowledge and understanding on sourcing, procurement and cost optimization for software, hardware, and IT categories.

Hardware & Networking:

· Thorough understanding of IT hardware components like servers (physical, virtual), storage solutions (SAN, NAS), switches, routers, and firewalls.

· Knowledge of network topologies, protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), and network security principles.

Security:

· Expertise in cybersecurity solutions like firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and data encryption methods.

· Understanding of access control mechanisms and security best practices.

Cloud Computing:

· Cloud computing procurement, sourcing,





and cost optimization strategies

· Familiarity with different cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and their security implications.

· Knowledge of leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their offerings.

Software & Digital Banking:

· Understanding of core banking software functionalities and their infrastructure requirements.

· Familiarity with digital banking platforms and associated security considerations.

IT Contractual Knowledge:

· Familiarity with IT related legal agreements (EULA, PULA)

· Understanding of software licensing terms and conditions

· Experience with IT vendor contracts
