Project Description:

DXC/Luxoft runs mission-critical systems with the latest technology innovations to deliver better business outcomes and new levels of performance, competitiveness and experiences for our customers.

This role is in support of DXC/Luxoft travel and transportation clients, supporting international carriers in the Americas. This role is a technical leader role for the development of a new Cloud application using microservices architecture and in alignment with AWS capabilities and services. The successful candidate is someone with extensive C# .Net expertise who has proven skills in leading a team of developers, accurately transforming requirements into solutions, and building high-quality,





high-performance .Net Core microservices.

Responsibilities:

• Part of a high-performance agile team developing Cloud Native Microservices using .Net Core

• Hands-on service design, schema design and application integration design

• Hands-on software development using C#, .Net Core

• Hands-on skills in transforming business requirements into technical designs and user stories, and development tasks

• Use of multiple Cloud native database platforms including DynamoDB, SQL, and others

• Hands-on application design for high availability and resiliency

• Hands-on problem resolution across a hybrid Cloud environment

• Conduct Code reviews and peer reviews

• Mentor development team

• Unit test and Unit test automation, defect resolution and software optimization

• Actively engaged with Client IT and Client Business during daily work sessions

• Code deployment using CI/CD processes

• Contribute to each step of the development process from ideation to implementation to release,





including rapid prototyping, running A/B tests, Continuous Integration, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery

• Understand business requirements and technical limitations

• Ability to learn new technologies and influence the team and leadership to constantly implement modern solutions

Mandatory Skills:

• 12 to 20 years of hands-on Application design and development experience

• 6 or more years in a technical leader capacity with hands-on work

• Expert knowledge of C#, .NET, .NET Core

• Expert knowledge of .Net design patterns

• Proven ability to lead a local or remote team of developers and deliver results

• Strong experience with Microservices development in .NET Core using C#







• Strong experience creating RESTful services and APIs

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB

• Experience with RDBMS databases

• Experience in container-based development using Docker

• Knowledge of Code development and deployment using modern CI/CD tools such as Harness / GitHub

• Must have the desire and experience to automate and implement strong unit and service-level tests

• Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge and Experience working with public cloud AWS services







• Experience in container orchestration using Kubernetes

• Ability to prepare documentation for Microservices

• Monitoring tools such as Datadog, Logstash
