www.bioqube.aiJob Overview:Bioqube is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Accounts & Taxation to manage all financial, tax, and compliance-related activities. In this role, you will oversee financial management, ensure tax compliance, manage audits, and provide strategic financial insights. You will also mentor and lead a team of finance professionals to support the company's growth objectives.Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Management:- Oversee all financial management functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure strong financial health.- Manage the month-end closing of financial books, ensuring accurate financial statements and adherence to local and international accounting regulations.- Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to enhance profitability and business growth.2. Taxation and Compliance:- Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations,
including the timely and accurate filing of tax returns.- Coordinate with tax authorities and external consultants to address tax-related issues and inquiries.- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency and minimize liabilities.3. Audit Coordination:- Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, including statutory, tax, and compliance audits.- Ensure audits are completed on time and address audit findings to mitigate financial and compliance risks.4. Treasury Management:- Oversee cash flow management and liquidity, ensuring optimal working capital and risk management.- Establish and maintain treasury policies to support efficient financial operations.5. Team Leadership:- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team,
fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.- Set clear departmental goals and ensure alignment with the company's overall Education:- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.2. Experience:- 5-7 years of experience in finance, accounting, and taxation, preferably within the tech or SaaS sector.- Experience managing taxation in multi-vertical or multinational organizations is an advantage.3. Skills:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work across departments.- Proficiency in financial management software and the MS Office suite.Key Competencies:1. Deep understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory compliance requirements.2.
