About APACMedThe Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed) represents manufacturers and suppliers of medical equipment, devices and in-vitro diagnostics, industry associations and other key stakeholders associated with the medical technology industry in Asia Pacific. Our mission is to improve the standards of care for patients through innovative collaborations among stakeholders to jointly shape the future of healthcare in Asia Pacific. ResponsibilitiesAs a Manager for the APACMed India Office, you will support the India Country Lead in building APACMed's presence and engagement in India.
You will work cross-functionally through APACMed's areas of work, including Government Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs,
and Digital Health. Your responsibilities will include:Supporting activities to build the association's presence, brand, visibility, and engagement in India. Establishing strong relationships with government, regulators, policymakers, think tanks, and other key ministries and government departments.
(Department of Pharma, Ministry of Health, NITI, AAYOG, CDSCO, DHR, DPIIT, States etc)Building and maintaining relationships with members and external stakeholders like Trade Associations (FICCI, CII, NATHEALTH, NASSCOM, MTaI etc)Providing advisory assistance to members by tracking forthcoming policy initiatives from the government and monitoring reforms in the sector for proactive advocacy
Prepare narratives and other collaterals backed by research such as position papers, concept notes, knowledge papers, press releases, articles, and other instruments
Create platforms for dialogue through organization of events and conferences, including creation of program structure, finalizing background papers,
topics for discussion, talking points, identifying target participants, speakers, sponsors, event marketing, and logistics. Support Country Lead in meeting annual goals, strategy, plans and budgetary requirements and deliver the overall country strategy in alignment with APACMed regional strategy. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project requirements.

Desired Qualification/ProfileMaster's degree in preferably Pharma/Biotech/Economics/International Affairs/Communication/Public Policy with an understanding and exposure to policy advocacy, regulatory affairs, and stakeholder management especially with government.10+ years relevant experience in Healthcare, MedTech, Pharma, Chambers of Commerce, Trade Associations, Multi-Bi Laterals, Think Tanks, Healthcare NGO's, Consulting/Public Affairs would be preferred.OthersLocation: New Delhi
