Position Profile: Lead Editorial Analyst (Remote).

About the Role: The Lead Editorial Analyst will take charge of the editorial analyst team, delegating content management system (CMS) data tasks. You’ll be responsible for reviewing workflows, managing KPIs,
and reporting to management. This role involves solving issues, streamlining workflow efficiency, and working closely with the product manager to enhance the CMS. You’ll also report monthly activity, collaborate with technology teams to improve training data, run data approval processes, and train the team on new features. Updating training guides and ensuring data quality are key aspects of the role. Extensive industry knowledge, research skills, and project management capabilities are essential, along with proficiency in data mining and analysis. This position is a 6-month contract role with the potential to be extended.
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Data Management:
- Upload, reformat, and categorize content within our CMS,
ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain high standards for data content input and output, verifying data protocols.
- Optimize workflow processes to enhance team efficiency.
- Develop and enforce content editing and QA policies and procedures.
- Use data-driven insights to guide content creation and curation.
Content Research and Curation:
- Conduct in-depth research to gather relevant information for content development.
- Curate engaging content that aligns with strategic goals and resonates with our audience.
Collaboration and Project Management:
- Work with the strategy management team, marketing, and other stakeholders to implement editorial quality assurance standards.
- Manage project delivery, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Delegate project tasks to the editorial team based on individual strengths and workloads.
- Provide regular updates on team activities, project status, and data management insights.
Attributes:
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong background in executive search, research, or a related field is preferred.
- Extensive exposure to financial services or multiple industries and understanding of business infrastructures.
- Experience with large data sets.
Organizational and Analytical Skills:
- Highly organized and methodical.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
Writing and Attention to Detail:
- Exceptional writing skills and keen eye for detail.
- Ability to adapt quickly to IT systems and databases.
Passion for Technology and High Work Ethic:
- Demonstrated interest in technology.
- High energy, strong work ethic, and collaborative mindset.
Additional Role Requirements:
- Excellent data mining and desk-based market research skills.
- Exposure to financial, technology, information, or research sectors.
- Strong literary skills in reading and writing.
- Ability to process article and internet data.
- Knowledge of major industries, such as financial services and technology.
- Inquisitive, self-motivated, and able to use own initiative.
- Adaptable to IT systems, with a good working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- High energy and work ethic, team player.
- Excellent communication skills for remote work.
- Interest or experience in journalism is preferable.
