Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager at Color Pencil. You will be responsible for tasks like lead generation, market research, creating presentations, and effective communication to drive business growth and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
● Identify and develop new business opportunities through North India’s educational sector.
● Build and maintain relationships with school management, teachers, parents, distributors, and agents.
● Promote and sell Color Pencil’s apps, worksheets, flashcards, and Vedic Math products.
● Conduct lead generation and market research to uncover new opportunities.
● Create and deliver compelling presentations to potential partners and clients.
● Build strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners.
● Manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities, ensuring consistent follow-up.
● Meet sales targets by driving product awareness and closing deals.
● Collaborate with the Sales Head and marketing team to execute campaigns and strategies.
● Provide feedback and market insights to support product development and improvement.
● Prepare and deliver presentations or demos to potential clients.
What We're Looking For:
● Strong presentation skills.
● Experience with lead generation and market research.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
● Prior experience in the education sector is a plus.
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (experience in B2B/ Credit Card sales is a plus).
● Strong organizational and time management skills.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
● Willingness to travel through North India.
