Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Area SalesManager to join our team in the education industry. The idealcandidate will be responsible for overseeing sales operations in aspecific geographic area managing a team of sales representativesand developing strategies to increase sales and market share.
Responsibilities:
. Manage andlead a team of sales representatives within the designated area
. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achievesales targets
. Build and maintain strong relationshipswith key clients and stakeholders
. Analyze sales dataand trends to identify opportunities for growth
.Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance theirperformance
.
Collaborate with marketing and productdevelopment teams to align sales strategies with company objectives
. Monitor and report on sales activities and performancewithin thearea
Requirements
5 years of experience in sales preferably in the educationindustry
Proven track record of achieving and exceedingsales targets
Strong leadership and team managementskills
Excellent communication and negotiationabilities
Ability to analyze sales data and markettrends to make informed decisions
Bachelors degree inBusiness Administration or related field ispreferred
Quick to action, positive and goal oriented Fluent in spoken andwritten communication in English & Tamil . Fluency in otherlanguages would be an added advantage Conversant in using MS Officetools Should have had 2 - 6 years experience in B2B Sales in EdTech industry
