> Our client holds a leadership position in the Android TV STB space. The responsibility of this role would be to ensure building cloud application to support the Video Products ecosystem. This role would not have direct people management responsibility but would be responsible for technically driving the architecture and direction of the team.
>
> Key responsibilities
>
> - Providing deep software development knowledge with respect cloud architecture, design patterns and programming
> - Staying up to date on emerging technologies (AI, Automation, Cloud etc.) and trends with a clear focus on productivity, ease of use and fit-for-purpose, by researching, testing, and evaluating.
> - Providing POCs and product implementation guidelines.
> - Advising and mentoring engineering teams.
> - Agile software development and DevOps
> - Propose innovative ideas to achieve operational efficiencies and optimizations.
> - Ensure project timelines are met within acceptable metrics.
>
> Basic Qualification
>
> - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computers Science and engineering.
> - Overall 4+ years of software development experience and at least 2+ years of relevant experience in Cloud technologies.
> - Proficiency in one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM)
> - Experience in developing software with one or more languages (C#, Java, Python, Golang, Node.js)
> - Skills in providing metrics, analytics, and observability in cloud systems and on security and connectivity between, into, and out of cloud services
> - Good Experience in ELK/Splunk or similar analytics and visualization tools.
> - Experience in AI/ML/DL is an added advantage
> - Experience in implementing Cloud architectures in a DevOps/Agile methodology.
> - In depth Knowledge of Deployment pipeline, containers, Kubernetes, open stack and deployment patterns are desirable.
> - Strong design and problem-solving skills
> - Excellent written and verbal communication
