JOB DESCRIPTION:Position:Structural EngineerExperience: between 7-15 yearsPosition Purpose:Basic & detail Design Engineering activities for the assigned project(s) in Petrochemical Plants, Oil & Gas Plants, in accordance with the Company established procedures.Preparation / review of PFD, P&ID;’s, project specific specifications, design calculation / analysis, procurement specification.Interface with other disciplines, user departments and Clients.Estimation / engineering work related to bids.Job Responsibilities:Qualification - Bachelor/Master’s Degree in civil and structural engineeringSkills Required-STAAD Pro. ETABS, SAP,
STAAD Foundation is PreferableConversant with StaadPro & SAP software.Conversant with FEM based connection design tools like IdeastaticaWorking knowledge of Auto Cad and Other 3D tools like Tekla structure, Navisworks, SPR etc.Jacket and Topside pre service analysisJacket Impact AnalysisJacket and topside Fatigue AnalysisPile Drivability AnalysisPreparing load Calculations and loading sketches.Basic knowledge of Industrial Architecture, PHE and Roadways.Hands-on experience and knowledge of structural steel / reinforced concrete design & detailing of Process/non process buildings Machine foundations Pipe rack Factory Buildings etc.Experience in international codes & standards is preferable.Responsible for quality checks, quality assurance of reviewed drawingsSkills Required-STAAD Pro. ETABS, SAP, STAAD Foundation is PreferableSkill Set:Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation and piping.Proven ability to collaborate with team members from project management, estimating, and project controlsStrong organizational skills,
technical competence, and attention to detail.Ability to provide the supporting design calculations.Must have experience in independently reviewing analysis files.Must hold strong knowledge of strength, buckling, fatigue and dynamic behaviour of structures.Familiarity with following will be considered as additional advantage; 3D environment working with software such as SP3D, TEKLA.Team leads in medium to large size relevant projectProcess knowledge and ability to develop team.Strong analytical skills and ability to produce coherent, self-explanatory reports such as technical documents, market research analysis and business advisory.Team Player.
