Role:
JioSaavn is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the Data Strategy & Infrastructure initiative within our product team. The Senior PM will play a crucial role in shaping the data strategy across all platforms, developing and productizing data solutions, managing data events,
and ensuring the integrity and availability of data reporting. This role requires a deep understanding of data infrastructure, analytics, and an ability to collaborate across teams to drive insights and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Data Strategy:
Drive the development and execution of a comprehensive data strategy across all JioSaavn platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product roadmaps.
Productize Data and Analytical Solutions:
Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to transform raw data into scalable and user-friendly products that support decision-making for internal stakeholders.
Events Management & Instrumentation:
Oversee the management and implementation of events across all platforms, ensuring proper instrumentation to capture accurate, comprehensive, and meaningful data.
Resolve Data Reporting Issues:
Troubleshoot and resolve complex data reporting and tracking issues, working closely with data engineering and BI teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting for all stakeholders.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, marketing, business intelligence, and data science teams to ensure seamless data integration and availability across the JioSaavn ecosystem.
Data Governance and Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce best practices for data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends:
Keep abreast of the latest advancements in data product management, analytics, and infrastructure to guide the development of innovative and competitive data solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data products, analytics, and infrastructure.
Proven track record of leading data strategy and productizing data-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of data architectures, pipelines, analytics, and event-based tracking.
Experience working with modern data stack technologies (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Kafka, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving skills,
with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a cross-functional setup.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex data concepts into understandable business solutions.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the media or streaming industry is a plus.
Familiarity with machine learning models and AI-driven data products is desirable.
