the family-owned business pools its operations in various business units where the needs of customers are the major focus at all times.Hiring for Senior Manger / AGM Business Development for Mumbai BKC location.Role and Responsibilities:Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the contract logistics space, focusing on market trends and customer demands.Engage with potential clients to understand their logistics needs, challenges, and objectives, providing tailored and innovative solutions that drive value.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential clients and sectors for growth, adjusting strategies as needed to capture opportunities.Prepare and present compelling business proposals, including detailed solution designs, pricing models, and implementation plans, to effectively communicate value propositions to prospective clients.Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to enhance customer acquisition and retention.Oversee commercial negotiations and contract closures with customers.Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and monitor contract performance.Manage financial aspects, including P&L; and budget allocations for contract logistics.Lead the design and implementation of tailored logistics solutions to meet customer requirements across various industry verticals (e.G., FMCG, Retail, Healthcare, E-commerce).Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of solutions from opportunity identification to delivery.Evaluate automation opportunities and deploy right solutions to enhance operational performance.Manage transformational projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with customer expectations.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.Skills / Work Experience / Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Minimum of 10+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the contract logistics or supply chain industry.Proven success in B2B sales and negotiation, with a strong track record of winning business contracts.Demonstrated experience in sales techniques and strategies to drive growth.Proficient in data analysis, forecasting,
and budgeting to support informed decision-making.Strong planning and resource management abilities to optimize team performance.Proficient in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively engaging with various stakeholders.
