- We are currently transitioning from PHP to Next.js (based on React.js) and Nest.JS (based on Node.js), but there are still PHP maintenance tasks required. This position seeks someone who can handle PHP maintenance while also developing with React.js. This is a great opportunity for a developer who has knowledge of PHP and can be deployed immediately, and who also has an understanding of React.js and TypeScript and is interested in expanding their expertise in frontend development. Initially, the focus will be on PHP, but the work will gradually shift toward React development.
Role
- Maintain and modify existing PHP-based projects as needed.
- Participate in new app and web development projects using React.js in the long term.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-stack development and maintenance of existing PHP-based websites using the Codeigniter framework.
- Develop and implement frontend features for new and existing applications using React.js.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain code quality and project consistency.
- Manage PHP maintenance while gradually transitioning to React.js and TypeScript projects.
- Maintain database connections and perform database-related tasks as needed.
- Communicate efficiently and effectively in English, primarily through text-based communication.
Qualifications
- Experience in PHP development, particularly using the Codeigniter framework.
- Practical experience with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Understanding of React.js and TypeScript.
- Understanding of databases and general web operations.
- Ability to communicate in English and work remotely.
- Open-minded attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Next.js and interaction animations.
- Experience with Linux servers.
- Experience operating in AWS Cloud environments.
- Understanding of Node.js and hybrid app development.
- Experience with version control and code review using Git.
- Ability to work independently in a flexible, remote environment.
