The role of the export/import specialist is to facilitate the movement of products/equipment/ materials out of the country, via ocean or air freight, in accordance with organizational policies and procedures,
and to comply with relevant local, country and international laws and processes. In addition, this role provides customer service with regard to: bookings, rates, document production, accounting, agent interaction and problem solving.

About the Job:
The Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to customers, addressing their logistics-related inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication throughout the shipment process. You will act as a liaison between clients, operations teams, and carriers to resolve issues, provide shipment updates, and deliver exceptional service. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide accurate information regarding shipment status, delivery schedules,
and logistics services.
• Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure client needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
• Assist customers with booking, tracking, and managing shipments through our online platform.
• Address customer concerns, handle complaints, and provide solutions to improve the customer experience.
• Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive updates to customers regarding potential delays or issues.
• Gather customer feedback and work with internal teams to enhance service quality.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in customer support, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Intermediate or higher level of English.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
