Description
The Brand Protection (BP) Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) team is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to drive cross-functional wide projects and innovate new processes at scale. WW BP programs build trust with brands by accurately representing and completely protecting their brand. We strive to be the most trusted thought leader in the space and ensure that public perception mirrors the trustworthy experience we deliver.
BP ACES Manager will be responsible for overall execution and performance within a specific business problem and/or area of operations and business teams across Brand Protection. Establish process standards and adherence, define controllable and non-controllable inputs to identify opportunities to improve process stability, eliminate redundancy which contributes towards overall reduction in costs. He/She fosters a culture of continuous improvement, leverages data insights to identify operational efficiency opportunities, solves for underlying root causes, and implements solutions that improve overall brand, selling partner and associate experience. This includes deployment of new projects or changes, aligning with organizational goals, within their area of expertise. As a Sr. Manager, you will write effective narratives (e.g., Amazon 6-pager, reporting, etc.) and present them effectively to stakeholders, directors and VPs.
Key job responsibilities
Key Job Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
- Drive Process, Tools and Policy Standardization across Brand Protection business and operations.
- Support brand protection strategy by driving process standardization and relevant project implementations.
- Drive improvement plans aligned to OP2 business goals, providing method and skills for high quality process improvement, and promote Kaizen involving all levels of the organization.
- Organize ACES Kaizen events.
- Work with multiple organizations and stakeholders to improve workflows.
- Innovate to improve customer experience and continuously improve organizational efficiency.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders on status, risks, and changes.
- Ability to manage complex programs, delivering critical solutions, significant improvements, new mechanisms, or deprecating processes that are no longer needed.
- Thinking big and developing and nurturing new ideas, while simultaneously applying high standards to remove ideas that are less impactful.
- Collaborating and influencing team members, working with development teams and other business groups, and presenting projects to senior leadership on a regular basis.
- Communicate ideas effectively, verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences including Directors and VPs.
- Proactively identify risks and bring them to the attention of your team and stakeholders with plans for mitigation before they become roadblocks.
- Define and drive key goals for ACES organization and set up periodic reviews with business and operational stakeholders.

is Amazon Operation's culture of continuous improvement. As a strategic partner, Brand Protection ACES team strives to continuously improve processes and services by driving high impact improvement projects as well as daily process improvement activities under Brand Protection operations and business through Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Kaizen and Gemba walks.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience managing teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing,
analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- - Experience in change management and driving adoption of new tools, processes, and decision support.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Participation in metric-based reviews and making decisions based on metrics.
- Certified Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is a plus
