This is a remote position. We are seeking aSoftware Engineer II (C/C Linux TCP or QUIC) to join our team. As a Software Engineer II you are responsible for the software that measures and models the global internet and directs traffic for globally distributed network of servers. Responsibilities: yzing designing and implementing system software that brings new functionality and increased reliability to our mapping system. Evolving complex traffic forwarding algorithms to respond to unpredictable traffic patterns on the global Internet best. Improving the ability and safety of our software systems for testing deployment monitoring and maintenance.
Becoming a subject matter expert for our systems explaining and improving our software and isting with troubleing. Collaborating across engineering teams and other stakeholders to integrate and deliver features on time. Requirements Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or its equivalent. Demonstrate solid experience with C/C or similar objectoriented language. Show familiarity with Linux operating system. Demonstrate openness and flexibility to learn new technologies constantly. Enjoy collaborating with team members to solve complex problems. Show familiarity with or ability to learn about Internet transport protocols (especially TCP or QUIC). Have experience with or desire to learn about building scalable servers or distributed systems.
