Job Summary
This is a role located in country to support the Regional Procurement team. The candidate will work with the APAC Senior Procurement Lead and the Director of Global Procurement to provide support in countries for addressable spend that requires regional involvement such as tenders that are greater than $50k and/or support countries to address vendor performance/issues.
Key Responsibilities
PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT
- Lead and execute sourcing and contracting activities for the countries in APAC
- Support Operations on tactical sourcing initiatives
- Assist in providing procurement training and understanding among local operations teams
- Support initiatives to transition countries to implement country preferred suppliers, increase spend with partners in SD&I; and Sustainability
- Execute portfolio strategies that align with the contract to support the glidepath targets
- Leverage all resources available to deliver the best value to the client (technology, global teams, platform sourcing, etc.)
- Take on other responsibilities as required
COMPLIANCE
- Identify risks and apply risk minimizing controls and techniques
- Remediate areas of non-compliance under Third Party Compliance and Assurance programs
- Adhere to all account and CBRE compliance policies and procedures
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Responsibilities for assigned projects include managing and maintaining the project plans, assist in business requirement review, assembling cross functional teams, managing scope,
and actively manage costs, quality and risk
- Creates and manages project plans; monitors and reviews project progress and timelines; adjusts schedules and plans as needed; identifies and resolves issues to ensure project(s) success.
- Manages day-to-day execution of project implementations, documentations and status updates for the project(s).

· Produce relevant industry & supplier strategic insights to Leadership

· Continue to develop skillset in Category Management and help in other client activities where required
· Participate actively in the Regional Sourcing team dedicated to the client.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires an understanding of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Must be able to analyse commercial results and make a recommendation.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving a variety of options in complex situations and provide solutions where necessary.
Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
CATEGORY MANAGEMENT
Ability to envisage and develop projects/programs to solve for specific needs impacting various stakeholders/businesses. Ability to project manage developing projects, keep stakeholders informed and build consensus. Experience with Cleaning and FM Ops categories is preferred.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite & Tableau. Data analytics to tell a story with diagrams, charts and ppt. Must have a strong command of the English language and excel in the areas of spelling, grammar and punctuation. Experience in contracting for services. Knowledge and experience with CBRE systems such as Zycus, iRisk and MySupplier.
Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor degree and/or experience working in Procurement preferably in a client facing model. Minimum of five years of related experience and/or training
