Purpose of the position: Accounting & Reporting FunctionGrade: Assistant General Manager / Deputy General ManagerEssential Qualification: Chartered Accountant/ Cost accountantExperience: 12-18 YearsRoles and ResponsibilityPlant Finance and accounting process including Product costing, Inventory, COGSPlant controls, vendor reconciliation Process.Support AOP/ Scenario building /Forecasting process in the OrganizationProvide and gather accurate operational information to deliver target and latest forecast processes.Work with Plant team and Procurement team on all the cost line items.Own the Product cost sheetLead the Monthly / Quarterly (Plan Vs Actual)
review process for Operations and drive actionable.Perform day-to-day accounting operations & implement & monitor processes with respect Fixed Assets, AP, GL Accounting and Revenue RecognitionEnsuring all the compliances w.R.T. TDS, TCS, professional tax, GST, regulatory payments, other contractual payments and agreementsRunning the monthly closing process and providing monthly financial statementsSubmission of monthly stock statements and other financial reporting dataCoordinating with external financial, compliance and tax auditorsERP exposure (SAP)Export oriented manufacturing industry, preference from food industryHands on experience on Excel, Power BI etcRequisite skills:Functional:Advanced degree in Accounting – CAWorking knowledge of accounting principles and proceduresExperience with creating Financial StatementsPlant operations and the month-end/year end close processExcellent accounting software user ERP – SAP and administration skillsBehavioral:Detailed OrientedCollaborativeWork well under pressureProject Management skillsTeam playerGood Communication – Spoken and written (English & Gujarati)Essential areas/ factors/ conditions in which incumbent should have experienceWorked in Export oriented Manufacturing organizationCritical/Special Exposure:ERP specially SAP exposure, Manufacturing experience is must.Essential Area of Expertise:Plant finance, Product costing, Internal control, Indirect Taxation, Capitalisation, Vendor Management and Inventory managementInternal Interface (Designations)Work closely with department heads and their teamsExternal Interface (Suppliers/Govt Bodies/Communities)Suppliers/Govt Bodies/ Auditors/ Consultants/ Advisors/ CustomersReporting to: Finance ControllerReportees (Function and Designation): DM, Manager etc
