To perform risk assessment, pre implementation approval and post implementation quality control of firewall change requests
To prepare firewall change implementation plan to fulfill communication requirements
To troubleshoot network and firewall issues and assist users whenever required
Contribute to ensuring firewall change management process is adhered by all involved business associates
Timely review and approval of change requests in accordance with internal processes
Advise users and consumers on matters of network security
contribute to the network consulting team with technical information whenever required
Working in various time zones to support customers in different regions (APAC, CH, EMEA & AMER)
Collaboratively work with implementation teams, network consulting team and network SOCs
Identify process gaps and look for process improvement opportunities
Proficiency of Firewalls and other network devices like load balancers & proxies
Troubleshooting of firewall and routing issues in a global network involving multiple regions
Risk assessment experience of third party network connections
Prior experience of any firewall analyzer would be advantageous.
Intermediate/Basic knowledge of UNIX and Windows infrastructure
5 years on firewalls and OSI model
Outstanding interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work cohesively within team in different time zones
Ambitious with ability of successfully working in teams and can handle business partners and prioritize work
Experience in network security in financial industry or military
Work on night shifts (a month, every 4 months)
You are ambitious, dedicated, hardworking and can work on own initiative whilst also working collaboratively and deliver on time with a high level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
