The Role Responsibilities

To provide Trade & CMS related Services to Customers and to meet turnaround times as per the Service Level Agreement & productivity standards

Organization of work flow to achieve maximum productivity.

Responsible for monitoring operational & customer service activities of the Trade & CMS - CPC

Regular monitoring of the performance of the team & improve efficiency.

Handle staff referrals, customer enquiries, exceptions and Irregular cases in accordance with agreed service standards

Monitoring all transactions to ensure obligations/payments duly met.

Monitoring, timely reporting and taking corrective action of irregular items to facilitate early resolution.

Timely submission of data to regulators

Comply with internal operating procedures & Key Control Standards

Develop, train, motivate and educate staff and enhance morale of staff

To ensure speedy resolution of customer queries & complaints in accordance with laid down procedures & Quality standards

Maintain data and statistics on performance of the team related to WB standards, customer information etc.

Handle all issues arising of Legal & Compliance matters pertaining to Trade & CMS - CPC transactions

Ensure no operating losses

To verify and certify documents & guarantees as POA holder.

To approve vendor bill payments

Monitor and ensure timely archival of records.

Ensure compliance of all policies and procedures issued in relation to money laundering prevention.

Ensure strict compliance of Group Sanctions Procedures.

Ensure strict implementation of Group Policies on KYC, Group Code of Conduct

To function as Department Business Continuity Manager (DBCM) and to review BCP documents for the unit. Ensure BCP testing completed for the unit.

Ensure adherence to reporting schedules & escalate matters to superiors for advice.

To undertake and monitor Projects as and when assigned by Head Trade Services, India & Head, CMS India

To act in completed compliance with the Bank’s data confidentiality policy at all times which also governs sending of data to external parties over email.

Our Ideal Candidate

General operational knowledge.

Thorough understanding of ICC rules, local laws, legal risks, FEMA and regulatory guidelines

Knowledge of Trade documentation and Shipping terms.

All round banking experience.

Knowledge of the bank’s laid down policies and procedures.

Supervisory skills.

Good communication and PC skills.

Knowledge of operating systems.

To protect both customers’ and Bank’s interests.

To determine the appropriate course of action in resolving issues.

To handle staff issues with maturity

To report and/or refer appropriate issues to superiors in a timely manner.
