The Role Responsibilities
Managing the assigned tasks professionally and efficiently
Ensuring compliance of regulations, policies and requirements.
Contributing to the effectiveness of the team by utilizing interpersonal skills to work with members effectively
Continually reviewing all assigned processes in order to identify opportunities for quality and process design improvement
Ensuring total customer satisfaction by providing quality service, that is error free, submitted in a timely manner and communicated effectively
Continuous Improvement in Productivity to the standards prescribed from time to time
Upholding the Values of the Group and Company at all times
Compliance with all applicable Rules/ Regulations and Company and Group Policies
Understanding the transfer pricing policies /guidelines adopted by bank
Understanding the calculation of monthly/ quarterly accruals for various allocation processes
Review of working files and spreadsheets to facilitate the process
Review of country support documents
Proactive involvement to facilitate process efficiencies by standardising / streamlining processes
Attending periodic calls with stakeholders for sharing updates and resolve issues if any
Active participation in the testing phase of automation by performing a parallel run and identifying the gaps
Update Asst Manager/Manager/ Sr Manager on key issues/risks in the process
Assist with global and regional tax efficiency initiatives
Interact with team members/stakeholders to understand the actual requirements and effective control is in the process
Ensure detailed documentation is maintained and kept up to date for all the processes
Cross training/Knowledge sharing with fellow team members
Ensuring knowledge enhancement requirements from time to time by attending trainings, self study
Should be able to give clear directions to team members on the work needs to be done
Thorough review of working files before sharing with stakeholder
Should be able to take part in non BAU initiatives
Should have ability to diversify based on job needs
Our Ideal Candidate
Qualifications & Experience
University degree preferable in Finance or Accounting
People having work experience in banking/multinational companies are preferred
Good understanding of general tax principles and accounting treatment for taxes preferably in transfer pricing domain
High level of computer literacy and understanding of business computing environments
Strong analytical skill and an eye for detail
Good communications and interpersonal skills
Judgement & Complexity
Tax technical skills
Proficiency in excel.
